It is amazing how many car windows are broken every day by thieves smashing the window and grabbing what they can...Last year in San Francisco there where 31,000 reported smash and grabs! That's a ton! Crazy article by Inside Edition HERE. Tips on how to avoid it by Nationwide Insurance HERE. My friend Hal had his truck's window smashed....  Using gloves, he removed the rest of the broken glass.... The police had already been by...so now he made an appointment to have it fixed. Since it was the weekend, it would be a few days. For a temporary fix, we put a Big Tape on - and he was good to go!
